Behind the Canvas
Born in Jamaica, Allan Creary is a South Florida-based pop artist, painter, and military veteran with over a decade of experience as a self-taught creative. His work blends pop culture, bold visual storytelling, and digital innovation—spanning both physical and augmented reality formats.
Creary’s portfolio reflects a wide range of collaborations with artists, galleries, and businesses. His work has been featured in several notable exhibitions, including Black.Art.Matters. (February 2022), curated by the City of Downtown West Palm Beach; the SCENE Exhibit Arts at Warehouse in Delray Beach (May–June 2022); and as the featured artist for Palm Beach County’s MOSAIC (Month of Shows, Art, Ideas & Culture) in May 2024. In September 2024, his work was spotlighted in the South Florida PBS series On the Town in the Palm Beaches.
In 2025, Creary was selected as one of five artists for Endless Summer: The Commons — 5 Artists, 5 Spaces, a public art project with installations at Howard Park in Downtown West Palm Beach, on view through summer 2025.
He also created and curated The Art Brunch during Miami Art Week in 2021 and 2023, showcasing his own work alongside 15 fellow artists. His pieces were included in Art BAE during Miami Art Week in both 2022 and 2024.
Allan continues to push creative boundaries through his commitment to vibrant, futuristic pop art—merging storytelling, technology, and visual culture in ways that invite audiences to engage, reflect, and connect.
